Hernandez: After SAISD Board of Trustees vote to keep San Jacinto alive, it's time for San Angelo to step up

Opinion - Over the last few days, I've been reflecting on the memorable four-hour SAISD School Board meeting on Monday night when the Board of Trustees voted against repurposing San Jacinto into an early childhood education center after an impressive number of people spoke up against the proposed action. In public comment after public comment, members of that community implored Trustees to save their school.
